In addition to his artistic presence in local community theatre, D. Keith Best is also heavily involved with other arts organizations in the area. He is a past President and currently serves on the executive board of the Florence Regional Arts Alliance and has been part of the organization for several years now. He has also served as the Treasurer for the South Carolina Theatre Association for several years, a state organization with which he has been involved for many years, serving as President in 2001-2002. In 2017, Best earned the South Carolina Theatre Association’s Lifetime Service Award.
