Animals and Volunteering

Best spends most of his weekends volunteering with a network of animal rescue transport organizations, driving dogs from high-kill animal shelters to various rescues across the Southeast. In 2017, drove over 5,000 miles, transporting 62 dogs to their forever homes. He works closely with nonprofits like the East Coast Paws Transport, Highway Heroes Rescue Transport, Lu’s Labs, and Last Resort Rescue.
